We booked ourselves into the Sara Hotel, where the manager gave us a really good rate for an air-conditioned room for 5 people and breakfast and decided to through in the internet for free as well. The hotel has a pool and great views of the Nile, so thats where we headed with our Egyptian Stellas, shaking off the hassles of the day gone by.
The next day was brilliant, we ended up at the market, were I got some spices and some mint for my nose, I had been having nose bleeds ever since entering the desert, 2 sometimes 3 times a day and was trying to control this.
We had also arranged to head up the Nile on a Faluka, an Egytian sailing boat costing about £40000 (egytian) but realised there was not enough wind so went on a motor boat instead, what a great day actually, really relaxed, and to cap it off we got to swim in a really great part of the Nile, boy are we blessed.
